December 19, 2014 at 18.00 in the Center for Contemporary Art (Minsk, Nekrasov, 3) will open the New Year's interactive exhibition project «Art Christmas Tree» .

From December 26, 2014 to February 3, 2015 in Mogilev Museum of ethnography takes place the exhibition «Native Land cycle».

The museum exposition will present historical and ethnographic Podneprovye region as a part of the ethnic territory, which stands on a range of ethnic and cultural features: features of ethnic history, settlement patterns, economic activities and implements, folk architecture, arts and crafts, traditional costumes, folklore.

The basis of the exhibition are the annual movement of the sun and the main ritual Belarusian feasts which are very closely concerned with the daily life of the population. Towels, folk costumes, ceramic products are chosen according to the nationality and show features of various parts of the Mogilev Podneprovye.

Mogilev Museum of ethnography is the only museum in the country which reflects the spiritual and material culture of the Belarusians through their correlation.

In the National History Museum of the Republic of Belarus the exhibition «The Museum of Christmas toys» opened on November 18 at 5:00 p.m. The exhibition runs until mid-February 2015.

This is unique project not only on the territory of our country. Visiting the exhibition each child will be able to plunge into a fairy tale, and adult - back in early childhood. The exhibition is based on the principle of magic labyrinth, which presents the history of the production of glass Christmas tree decorations from the middle of the XIX century to the nowadays.

The project is unique not only in the selection of exhibits: visitors will have the opportunity to observe a small miracle - demonstration of the process of production of glass Christmas toys.

Christmas decorations from the private collection of funds and the National History Museum of Belarus will be presented at the exhibition. Among the rare exhibits are the Austro-Hungarian glass Christmas tree toy with the Vienna Christmas ball with a diameter of more than 450 mm, and a replica of toy presented to Pope John Paul II by Ukrainian glassblowers. You can see copies of paintings by Marc Chagall, Ivan Shishkin, Salvador Dali, Pablo Picasso, Victor Vasnetsov, Ivan Aivazovsky, Leonardo da Vinci depicted in glass balls. In Brest Regional Ethnographic Museum takes place international Exhibition «Floral collage», which will last from January 23 to February 26. The exposition will be presented with the International Creative Association «FLORISSIMA», which aims to promote a new kind of visual art.

Floral collage is sticking of natural material to some basis. In the fine arts floral collage has the richest arsenal of expressive means and has the widest range of techniques. His founder is the herbarium, but as a piece of art he began to develop in Germany in the early 1980s. Friedhelm Raffel is considered to be developer of floral collage. Australian company «Grande Exhibitions» has created the most extensive in the world traveling exhibition devoted to Leonardo da Vinci. Developed in conjunction with the Museum of Leonardo da Vinci Museo in Italy, this exhibition is the embodiment of genius Leonardo as an inventor, scientist and engineer. International Festival of Theatre-batleek held in a restored manor of Oginski M.K. in Zalessie Smorgon district in March 2015, the 250th anniversary of the famous public and cultural figures, composer Michael Cleophas Oginski.
