V international contest «GUITAR RENAISSANCE»

Competition will take place from the 4th of  December, till the 6th of December, 2009 in Gomel.

Competition is spent in 4 age categories (age of those, taking part in the competition is defined by date: 4.12.2009.)
I category. Under 12 years;
II category. 12-15 years (inclusive);
III category. 16-20 years (inclusive);
IV category. From 21 years.
The participants of the  I-IV  categories perform in one round. Guitar groups performs in two categories. I category. Under 18 Years; II category. Over 18 years. Competition of masters will be carried out in one round.
Competitive performances are openly listened to by competent jury.

Repertoire
 requirements:
CLASSICAL GUITAR

I category : (up to 5 minutes):
1. Piece of music - the participant of the International competition of composers in Gomel. Belarus. «Seven notes - six strings» can be chosen
2. The free program. Piece of musics of different styles can be chosen.
II category : (up to 7 minutes):
1. Piece of music - the participant of the International competition of composers in Gomel. Belarus. «Seven notes - six strings» can be chosen.
2. The free program. Piece of musics of different styles can be chosen.
III category (up to 10 minutes):
1. Piece of music - the participant of the International competition of composers in Gomel. Belarus. «Seven notes - six strings» can be chosen.
2. The free program.
IV category (up to 20 minutes)
1. Piece of music - the participant of the International competition of composers in Gomel. Belarus. «Seven notes - six strings» can be chosen.
2. Piece of music of the composer, or processing of a national melody of the country of the participant.
3. The free program. Music pieces of different styles can be chosen.

GUITAR ENSEMBLES AND THE ENSEMBLES INCLUDING THE CLASSICAL GUITAR

I category (to 15 minutes)
1. Piece of music of the composer, or processing of a national melody of the country of the participant.
2. The free program. Piece of musics of different styles can be chosen.
II category (to 20 minutes)
1. Piece of music of the composer, or processing of a national melody of the country of the participant.
2. The free program. Piece of music of different styles can be chosen.
For definition of a category of ensembles in which participants concern the different To age, the age group is defined on the participant, advanced age.
Program execution is supposed under notes.

COMPETITION OF MASTERS

1. 6-string classical guitars are allowed to take part in the competition.
2. Requirements to a guitar: mensure - 650 mm; width of a signature stamp on top apron 50-53mm., nylon strings. The labels confirming authorship inside The tool should be stuck.
