International Youth Theatre Forum «M.art.-contact»

From 20 to 28 March 2017 will be held in Mogilev XII International Youth Theatre Forum «M.art.-contact».

This forum was created to develop and promote theater art by showing the best stage works for young people.

This year will show 22 performances of 20 theaters from 10 countries (Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Poland, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Georgia, USA, Lithuania, Austria). The forum invited teams which clearly proved themselves in previous festivals, as well as new theaters and arts groups.

For the first time in the forum will be attended by theaters from Austria, and the United States. Caprile Theatre from Vienna will present the play «Montevideo» and actor Bremner Duthie from New York will present his show «33 (Cabaret)».

Innovation Forum this year is that of the jury decided to give up. It planned to invite young critics, as well as to provide the initiative Mogilev youth, including students of local universities to discuss the performances.

Organizers: Ministry of Culture of Belarus, Mogilev Oblast Executive Committee and the Mogilev Regional Drama Theatre.
