17-18 September 2010 at the National Park "Pripyat" in the village of Lyaskovichy in Petrikov district the first outdoor festival of ethnic and cultural traditions «Call of Polessye» will take place .

Aim of the festival - is to glorify different genres of culture and life of this picturesque region of Belarus. . All who visit this unique festival will be offered a fascinating and rich program, One will be able:

  • to see the original «exhibition of achievements» including all parts of Pripyat Polesie;
  • hear poleshuki veracular language and popular "hits" Pripyat remote;
  • hunt and immediately skinned pig;
  • fish and fish soup or baked fish;
  • races in their boats;
  • learn to weave sandals of twigs and straw hats;
  • taste national dishes, and then start dancing with folk bands.
