XVI open contest «Woodcutter-2010»

From the 3rd till the 4th of September 2010 on the basis of the Pinsk forestry «Woodcutter-2010» Contest will be held among wood fellers .
Professional competitions of the wood fellers will be regulated by the rules, accepted by the world wood fellers .
More than 100 best wood fellers and multioperational forest machines operators from different regions of the republic , the CIS countries (Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania and Latvia) will compete in the following skills:

• skills for running forest equipment ,
• felling
• four poster exercises:

• accurate crosscut;
• delimbing
• crosscut combined cuts;
• mounting speed (assembly, disassembly) of saws.

In addition to the above mentioned exercises, wood fellers and will perform the entire chain of exercises. The competition of tractor drivers, who work on loading and transport machines, held for the first time, is the major difference between this championship and the previous ones.

On the first day, the championship will compete in skill-felling at the felling site. On the second day, the competition at the DOSAAF stadium in Pinsk will begin at 10.00. Besides the main event, the organizers have prepared various entertaining competitions.
