There should be four couples - representatives of all social strata - a new Russian with his wife, a housewife, a former honest journalist with his wife, a cultural expert, a deputy, the corrupt conscience of the nation, with a street prostitute posing as his wife. The fourth will come later.
The characters don't have sex, but they talk about it. They popularly explain what swing is, its origin and necessity in Russia. They confirm the widespread guess that behind such a global "freedom" there is a global complexation of unhappy people. The heroes of the play are sure that a husband or wife is cheating on them, and have so much worn out from their own fantasies that they already want to see how it really happens. See and calm down.
