«Feast of St. Linus»

The feast in honor of Saint Linus takes place in the village of Pelias. In honor of the Roman bishop Linus, the villagers named the erected shrine. Celebrations in honor of Saint Linus are not just a church holiday, but a real cultural and religious event. On this day, residents of Peliasa and adjacent villages, numerous guests not only offer prayers to the Almighty, but also join the musical and songwriting of the Lithuanian people. Anyone can take part in the divine service in the temple. At the end of the service, the holiday will continue with a concert program for teachers and students of the Pelias secondary school with instruction in the Lithuanian language, as well as creative teams of the Voronovo region. During the holiday, local residents and guests of the agro-town have the opportunity to purchase pastries, souvenirs from artisans.
