International Festival of Contemporary Choreography IFMC

In Vitebsk from November 22 to 26, 2023 the International Festival of Contemporary Choreography (IFMC) will be held - the main cultural event of the region. This is an atmosphere of art, aesthetics and magic.

The festival has been held since 1987, it became the first and until 1997 remained the first and only forum for contemporary dance in the territory of the former USSR.

Festival program:

• ballet performances;
• performances of dance theaters;
• original exhibitions of photography and painting dedicated to dance;
• practical master classes;
• lectures on contemporary art;
• open discussions and much more!

The main event of the festival is the international competition, which is held every two years, alternating with the Belarusian competition of modern choreography.
