From 1st till 3rd June, 2012 in Grodno will pass IX Republican festival of national cultures. The festival of national cultures passes each two years, pulls together and unites all national minorities living in territory of Belarus, promotes preservation National originality and, at the same time, to mutual understanding and mutual enrichment of cultures. On the format the festival has no analogs in the world.
The first on the post-soviet territory a holiday of national cultures, been born in Belarus in 1996, here fifteen years walks on the Belarus, every year finding new friends and fans and equal to it on scope and depth of realization while isn't present anywhere.
Ethnographic feature of this festival is it stages: each time it organize and spend within two years, at first In areas, then in areas of republic and, at last, final actions, in holiday capital - Grodno.
Presumably in festival of 2012 will take part about 30 national communities. The action format will remain, but this year organizers promise to make it even more brightly and зрелищнее. So, there is an offer to please numismatists Release of a memorable coin «IX Republican festival of national cultures» to print marks and envelopes with a festival emblem. The line of souvenir production also should become wider.

Opening and closing festival is planned at stadium «Neman» in Grodno. The list «star visitors» besides the Russian will be filled up with the Polish and Lithuanian actors.
