XIII International festival «White lock»

From March 16 till March 18th, 2012 in Belarus one of the oldest military-historical festivals – XIII International festival «White lock» will pass.

The permanent organizer of festival is Historical and cultural center «Knight`s castle». Historical and cultural center «Knight's castle» is a rare possibility not only to observe from outside a life and customs of the Middle Ages, but also to live in this difficult, but interesting time. To be presented to you possibility to see a daily life, holidays and entertainments, knightly tournaments and duels, feasts and dances, noisy street of trading guilds and fair of the present Middle Ages. The first festival has passed in 1994 and has great popularity among inhabitants of the country.

In the festival program:

• Solemn opening of festival «White Lock»;
• Medieval games, dances, competitions for participants of festival and spectators;
• Tournament of archers;
• Tournament алебардистов;
• The concert program;
• Knightly tournament;
• Bugurty the first day;
• Master classes on dances;
• Horse tournament;
• Display-defile of suits and armor;
• Fajer-show competition;
• Farewell concert (the main scene).

All the days long festival in the Knight's castle will work medieval fair (from 12.00 till), taverns and round-the-clock bars.

Festival venue: historical and cultural center "Knight's castle" (16 km from Minsk, Ostroshitsky Small town).
