The Republican contest of young pop song ”Hali-Halo”

From The 15th November of till the 18th of November 2012 in Novopolotsk will be held the Republican contest of young pop song "Hali-Halo".

The name "Halі-Halo" appeared in Novopolotsk in the 1994. That's when the idea was born of the same name of the festival for talented children and adolescents. Two years later, when the event has proved a right to exist and has acquired a reputation, it was been taken under the wing of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus, and in the 1996 the city contest got  the status of the national song contest. In the melody of the "Halo-Halі" seven music sonorous were sounded - exactly as many times as it collected friends in Novopolotsk. After the 2003 has been a lull, which was broken last year. And now it is continued ...

The purpose of the contest:

• - disclosure and support for talented young performers;
• - promote creative development and performance skills of children and youth;
• - promotion of children's musical creativity;
• - education of artistic taste, reviving the best traditions of the genre of pop;
• - to attract the best performers in live performances and participate in their city, regional and national events, television productions;
• - promote achievement and encourage creativity of the best young pop song;
• - promoting young pop performers in the European and world cultural space;
• - Positioning of child vocal art as an integral part of the culture of the Republic of Belarus;
• - the exchange of creative ideas and practical experience.

Today, the organizers have already been developed and approved by the City Council position on the Republican contest of young pop song "Halі-Halo", which spelled out the rules of participation.

First, a creative contest will be held in three age categories: the youngest performer to be at least 8 years, the older - no more than 18 years.

Second, it will be good, if the participants already have experience of live performances. This will allow them to avoid "stress premiere" and quickly get used to the Novopolotsk scene.

Third, we need not just pick up a quality song material, but also "fix" it by the age of the singer. Young performers will sing two different songs live phonogram "minus one". For example, contestants aged 8-11 years are invited to select one of the songs from the repertoire of famous cartoons (children's movies), 12-14-year-olds - to draw attention to the disco '80s (in any language), Senior - will perform current hits of the world . The second song does not have strict restrictions on the genre, as long as it was hit on the Russian or Belarusian.

To participate in the competition you must submit an application and a DVD with audio and video recording submitted to popular music at the address of the directorate (211 446, Novopolotsk, ul.5 line, 5, GDK). It shall be accompanied by two photographs of each participant 3x4. Video recording does not imply professional clips - enough shooting a home made camera. Just members of the selection committee is important to see a potential competitor, to estimate its photogenic, and imagine how it will look like compared to other participants. It remains to add that the acceptance of applications ends on October 2. As a result of a tour of the competition directorate will send an official invitation to the participants no later than October 16. In addition to the applause of the audience, the winners' Halі-Halo "will be awarded special diplomas and valuable gifts, but the most vociferous and charismatic participant will receive the Grand Prix.
