On the 16th of March 2013 cheerful celebrations of ancient national holiday Maslenitsa which is connected with a farewell of winter. Since ancient times celebration of Maslenitsa lasted for the whole week, the first which three days were called as Narrow Maslenitsa, and the last four - Wide Maslenitsa, thus each day of the week had the own name.
Therefore on March 16th there will be very live and busy day, organizers of a holiday decided to accelerate time and in one day to live all the week. The first day of Narrow Maslenitsa was called «meeting», this day children went outside to build snow hills, and adults visited relatives and constructed an effigy. This year a meeting of guests in a venue of celebrations will take place at 13.00 where already dressed up and noisy they should worry festive week.
The second day cheerful games, entertainments and drivings which, in fact tended to courtship began. To show all the force and beauty each other organizers of a holiday thought up cheerful and noisy competitions - fights for men and driving the ATV for girls. The third day was considered that it is necessary to eat so much, to the top of the bent, so this day guests will be given pancakes with a huge number of stuffings, so that nobody remained hungry. For the fourth day when especially noisy celebrations helping to spring to banish winter began, guests will be able to visit sauna, to get on a prize-winning column. The most courageous and capable will receive pleasant gifts. Day the fifth: guests again will be able to regale - pancakes, and also exclusive dish. For the sixth day: a sit-round gathering and conversations in the Russian steam room will be offered guests, and also opportunity of visit of a Japanese bath is given. The seventh day: the culmination of all Maslenitsa Week when all asked each other forgiveness and burned an effigy. At 16.30 «Burning of winter effigy» will take place.
