During the period from 18th of July till August 8th The XI International plein air on ceramics «Art Zhyzhal», become sign for cultural life of Bobruisk will pass.
The history of plein air began in 1992, and since 2003 it is annually held in Bobruisk district. This year the recreation center «Verbki», located on the bank of river Berezina, becomes a venue of plein air. Here within 22 days more than 25 professional Belarusian and foreign artists-ceramists will work on creation of the works which have to correspond to the plein air subject – «Sculpture in interior space».
It is remarkable that during carrying out the plein air the recreation facility turns into the real craft workshop - participants build furnaces for roastings, prepare firewood, carry out independently roastings and molding of products in clay in the ways of manual molding and on the potter's machine.
On the XI International plein air on ceramics «Art Zhyzhal» all artists-ceramists, art critics, and also admirers of the most ancient art of ceramics will be able to get acquainted with the original direction of art life of Belarus.
