Festival of national creativity and crafts «Dribinskie Torzki»

On August 3d, 2013 in Dribin of Mogilev region the festival of national creativity and crafts «Dribinskie Torzki» will be held.
The festival, which is held the third year on the first Saturday of August, gives unique opportunity to all guests to learn more about the Belarusian culture and traditions.
All guests, who have arrived to the festival by tradition are met by owners of the festival at symbolical «Mytnya», to cross which guests can having carried out a comic task. At the festival, promotes revival of fair traditions of the city settlement, such national crafts as weaving of bast shoes are widely presented, beadwork, embroidery and, of course, production of valenoks which the Dribinsky district is famous for a long time. At fair local masters with pleasure will show the craft to visitors of a festival - warm valenoks, caps-magerki, mittens, jewelry and many other things. The craft of valenoks is brought in the list of non-material heritage of Belarus, and also prepares for inclusion in the list of the world non-material heritage of UNESCO.
Within a festival performance of local and foreign creative collectives is supposed, master classes will be carried out, and also entertainment program for children will be organized.
