X Republican festival of national cultures

Every two years on the territory of Belarus held a festival of national cultures. The first national festival of national cultures held in Grodno in 1996. It begins in the capital of the Republic - Minsk. Coming regional contests. In Grodno, traditionally held the final event.

Their culture and traditions at the festival show representatives of the peoples of the world who have found a second home in Belarus. In 2014, more than 40 national associations wishing to participate in the major events.

Planned to diversify the program new festival events. Topic will be raised liberation from Nazi invaders, organized meetings with veterans of various nationalities, pageants military subjects. Also plans to hold a beauty contest among the finest representatives of the national associations, where you will see the presentation of national costumes, individual vocal and instrumental ensembles concerts from various national diasporas. Before the start of the main events of the festival will be held open-air of art «Grodno eyes of artists of different nationalities».

Guests of the festival will not only Belarusian craftsmen, artists, as well as the delegation of the twin cities, representatives of diplomatic missions of countries. Invited guests will be representatives of national Belarusian diaspora from Ukraine, Russia, the Baltic countries, Poland.

Traditional part of the festival in Grodno are exhibitions, concerts, national monastery represent elements of their traditional music and dance, costumes and national dishes.
