XI Republican Festival of National Cultures

From 3 to June 4 in Grodno will be held XI Republican Festival of National Cultures.

The purpose of the festival - to unite and bring together the national minorities of the Republic of Belarus, to contribute to the preservation of their identity and at the same time enrich and establish a rapport between them. The format of the festival has no analogues in the world.

On the first day of the festival will take place its opening and a colorful procession of motorized parade. On the second day of the festival, guests will be able to evaluate the work of a farmstead - decorated like a decoration of houses spaces that reflect the national life, and flavor of a diaspora. Each farmstead will have its ideological and thematic line.

It is planned that 800 representatives of different nationalities will take part in the event. The festival will be held under the patronage of UNESCO.

Also in the festival program:

• the creation of «Ethno-greenhouse» and a concert in honor of their favorites;
• laser flame-video show;
• national exhibition utensils and weapons;
• ethno-concert;
• action of art town with artists, mimes, dances, sculptures;
• sports competitions;
• on-line radio broadcasts of the festival and radiobatl;
• as well as commercial projects: 3d video display, DJ battle, an open-air film screenings
