Memorial Day of St. Kiril Turovsky

In May, 11 in the center of Turov at the site of the ancient Holy Trinity Cathedral will host the Divine Liturgy on the feast day of St. Kiril Turovsky. On this day, the Divine Liturgy led by Metropolitan Paul, which runs on the foundation of the ancient Holy Trinity Cathedral, which was destroyed by an earthquake in XIII century. Then participants of the celebration will proceed to the monument to St. Kiril Turovsky and commit glorify. Every year on this day, Orthodox Christians remember the pious life of the bishop, descendants keep and honor the memory of the saint for his spiritual and educational heritage, which is the whole of the eastern Slavic symbol of the unity of the Slavic peoples.
