Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ruzhenсevoj in Soly

Church in Soly is a place with a rich and centuries-old history. The first wooden church was built at the end of the 16th century (1589) using funds from Hetman Khristorofor Radziwill. It was repeatedly destroyed and rebuilt: after the Russian-Polish war of 1812 and again in 1829. The modern stone church was constructed between 1926 and 1934 thanks to the parishioners and architect Adam Dubanovich.

The church is an impressive building standing 35 meters tall, with a multifaceted and harmonious composition. The main part is the nave with a gabled roof, which is topped by a side bell tower with a decorative roof. The tall tower and the distinctive overall silhouette give the building grandeur and beauty. A special mystery surrounds the figure of the knight with a sword on the roof of the church—an enigmatic figure that piques the curiosity of visitors.

The church attracts tourists with its unique style, impressive size, and historical atmosphere. It is one of the most beautiful buildings in the region for architecture and history enthusiasts.
