Excursion «Minsk — Dudutki» is a one-day tour that combines immersion in traditional culture and a sightseeing introduction to the modern capital of Belarus.
The journey begins with a visit to the open-air museum complex «Dudutki», where you will get acquainted with traditional Belarusian crafts, see the work of a blacksmith, potter, baker, and other artisans, and learn how our ancestors lived and worked.
Next is a sightseeing tour of Minsk, during which you will see Privokzalnaya Square, Independence Square and Avenue, Freedom Square and the Minsk Castle site, Trinity Suburb and the Island of Courage and Sorrow, as well as modern city landmarks — Minsk Arena and the National Library of Belarus.

Museum complex of ancient national crafts and technologies Dudutki
Dudutki — the place where the Belarusian traditions and crafts will recover on your eyes. In the museum the most talented masters of blacksmithing, a solomopleteniye, weaving, woodworking, fulling work. Will not leave indifferent and ancient Belarusian recipes according to which here still cook bread, oil, alcohol and many other things. You will taste the most tasty products of local production. Besides workshops the only windmill in Belarus which will slightly open for you a curtain of a secret and fulfillment of desires remained here. Bright impressions will leave also rare models of retrocars. In free time in a complex it is possible to take a walk in a zoo and to sweep on horses.

Privokzalnaya Square
(visual inspection)Privokzalnaya Square – the person of the city, the place of meetings and wires. As a human face, it grows old and changes from time and events. However talent and skill architects inhale in it new life again and again. And today, at an exit from one of the best stations of Europe, before you magnificent «gate of the city», the spacious area and the developed infrastructure open. The modern building of the railway station organically fits into ensemble of magnificent Stalin classicism. -
Independence Square
If outcomes of roads are thought up for unloading of streets, then the area – for «unloading» and rest of people. One of them – Independence Square. Having taken a place of honor in the downtown, it collected around itself a set of sights: the most beautiful church of Minsk and the oldest university, government buildings and the biggest monument to Lenin in the former Soviet Union. The modern landscape was added by lawns of greens and fountains, cozy shops and glass domes of the three-storyed shallow city – Shopping Center «Stolitsa». -
Nezavisimosti Avenue
The eponymous handout originates from Independence Square though earlier it changed the name 14 times. It is the central and largest highway of Minsk, the large-scale work of art and the keeper of memory. He remembers a great number of politicians, writers, artists… Nezavisimosti Avenue — the only example of so long site of urban development where it was succeeded to keep unity of a form and style fully. The avenue applied for entering into the List of the World heritage of UNESCO. -
Freedom Square
Not each city can brag of 2 centers – the Belarusian capital was lucky here. Besides the modern center with the Government house, the historic center with a symbol of city self-government – a town hall remained. The graceful small streets surrounding it with fancy lines of houses, medieval temples and monasteries – all this gives to Liberty Square special unique color. From all city not only tourists, but also locals are flown down here to feel spirit of old times and to enjoy live music of streets. -
Ruins of Minsk ancient castle
(visual inspection)The small hill on Svislochi Embankment and also the model of the base of the first city temple in natural size — here, perhaps, all that reminds today of medieval fortress. According to one of versions, ancient Mensk which was built up at merge of two rivers and is surrounded with an earth shaft is founded here. Anyway, the place this picturesque is also fanned by legends and legends. -
Trinity suburb
Trinity Suburb is a cozy corner of old Minsk with picturesque streets, 18th–19th century houses, and the Svislach River embankment. It offers charming courtyards, atmospheric cafes, and museums. A perfect spot for a stroll and beautiful photos. -
Island of courage and sorrow
“Island of Courage and Sorrow” is a memorial complex dedicated to Belarusian internationalist soldiers who perished in Afghanistan between 1979 and 1989. Over 30,000 Belarusians took part in the war, of whom 789 were killed, 12 went missing, and 718 were left disabled. This memorial is an essential part of Belarusian history, symbolizing the memory of those who lost their lives in combat outside their homeland.

Minsk-Arena is the largest sports complex in Belarus, hosting grand ice shows, championships, and concerts of world stars. Modern infrastructure, an ice arena, a velodrome, and a speed skating stadium make it the perfect place for active recreation and unforgettable experiences. -
National Library of Belarus
«You love the book because it – a source of wisdom, knowledge and science, medicine as a hobby» – was recommended to us by the Belarusian first printer Francis Scorina. He will meet you at a main entrance in National library of Belarus. It became not only storage of any type of books, but also a monument of modern architecture. To look at it guests of their different cities and countries of the world gather. And the open survey area where from height of 73 meters it is possible to look at Minsk crowns her - excellent types will open to you as in day, and in the evening. -
