VIII Parade of pops orchestras in Grodno

VIII Parade of pops orchestras will be held in Grodno on the 19th and 20th of November, 2009. Pop and jazz music including that of belarusian composers will be played on the scene of the concert hall in Grodno regional Philarmony. Six orchestras will take part in the parade of orchestras, including ones from Minsk.
On the 19th of November the band of traditional jazz "Renaissance" from Minsk will present its art to the spectators ,and also a wind band of Lida musical school and the orchestra of Grodno musical college are on the program.
On the 20th of November Pops orchestra of Grodno regional Philarmony, conducted by Boris Myagkov will play a concert. On that very daya pop orchestra "Kapriz" of the Grodno State University and a reknown jazz collective from Minsk "Yablochny chai" will give their performances. The concert will be devoted to the 110 birthday anniversary of Duke Ellinghton.
