«Cunning spring» - a tradition with deep roots: call of spring began in ancient times when our ancestors were pagans. In the Grodno region one of the most famous places where tradition is still alive - the village Glyadovichi in the Mostovsky district. In the centre of the village, the trees, the roof is decorated with colorful ribbons, colorful birds, cut from cardboard, are made of colored thread, fabric and any other material at hand. Click spring start girls, they sing songs-stoneflies. The peculiarity of these songs is the verse ends with a loud scream «Gu-u-u-u!». Hence the name "the cunning".
