Exhibition «Traditions and Culture of Japan»

From the 11th till the 12th of August, 2010 Gavriil Vashchenko Art Gallery in Gomel represents an exhibition entitled «Traditions and Culture of Japan» .

The exhibition is organized with the support of the Embassy of Japan in Belarus and is a testament to the consolidation and further development of friendly relations between Belarusian and Japanese people. It gives Homel a unique insight into the traditions and culture of the Land of Rising sun.

The exhibition will feature objects of culture and life, in particular:

• dioramas of World Heritage sites in Japan, included in the UNESCO list
• models of castles and temples
• samples to get acquainted with Japanese cuisine
• clothing
• sets of dolls
• kites
• Japanese masks
