The XV anniversary International festival of animation films «Animayovka-2012»

The XV anniversary International festival of animation films «Animayovka-2012» will pass in Mogilev from September 10th till September 15th, 2012.
«Animayovka» is heldd annually since 1989 for the purpose of promoting of the best works of world and domestic animation, support of animation cinema, acquaintance the audience with animation of the latest years, strengthening of cultural ties between Belarus and the countries - participants of the festival.

At the festival new works of directors animators are represented, this year on competition already submitted demands of 19 countries. Among them for the first time in competition will take part: Finland, China, Taiwan, Spain, Portugal and Switzerland. In total for viewing 112 films were received, from them 76 tapes were selected. This year organizers promise a lot of the interesting. Mogilev will be visited by eminent animators who will show the works and will tell how to do animated cartoons.

By the developed tradition, within a festival children's competition of drawings and arts crafts creativity «My favourite animated film» on which 260 works are already sent will be held. For the first time young artists from Kazakhstan will participate in it. Within a festival the competition of the animation films made by children's studios will pass also. The dramatized representations, creative meetings, competitions and exhibitions, master classes on creation of children's animation films and other actions are also planned.

This year among the invited guests the National actor of the USSR Lev Durov and the deserved actress of Russia Oksana Stashenko, and also founders of a known cartoon serial «Masha and the Bear» Denis Chervyatsov and Alina Kukushkina. The program of «Animayovka-2012» is in a development stage now. Organizers promise that the program of a festival will be saturated, various and very fascinating.
