International culinary festival «Motolskie prysmaki»

On August 10-11, 2013 in the village Motol of Brest region one of the most "tasty" events of the year - VI International culinary festival «Motolskie prysmaki» will take place.
This holiday gives the chance to guests of the festival not only to get acquainted with unique ancient culinary traditions of the Belarusian Polesye, but also to taste the well-known motolsky sausages and pies, to taste dishes of the best motolsky hostesses. Meat products, baking, fish dishes, fat, cheeses, honey, kvass and many other dishes is possible to taste and bye during the holiday.
For the period of the festival Motol turns into a peculiar shopping mall on the open-air where except numerous malls, playgrounds for childish, swing roundabouts, and also scenes on which local collectives of amateur performances act are equipped.
The integral and important element of a festival is demonstrations of ancient ceremonies and local culinary traditions. Guests of the festival will see dancing, performance of folklore ensembles, national ceremonies and ancient games, and also exhibitions of national creativity.
The culinary festival «Motolskie prysmaki», the contest of dishes of Polesye kitchen which took place for the first time in 2008, have got the international status for some years and collects a huge number of guests.
