Spring competitions on snowless kinds of driving sports on dogs «Draylend»

May 2 in Vyazynka of Minsk region, Molodechno district annual competitions on snowless kinds of driving sports on dogs «Draylend» take place. Competitions are held in 2 stages on the basis of the current Rules of the International Federation of riding sports: the first stage is beginning at 09:00, the second one at 21:00. Traditional organizer of the event is public association «Club of northern sled dogs».

In «Draylend» not only owners of northern sled breeds (Siberian Husky, Alaskan Malamute, Samoyed dog) but any other ones may participate. Previously the competition will be attended by about fifty sportsmen and as many sled dogs from Belarus, Russia, Estonia, Ukraine and other countries.

Participants will compete in the following disciplines:
• kanikross - dog pulls the running man,
• baykdzhoring - dog pulls cyclist,
• scooter - dog pulls riding man.

This year «Draylend» will be held in the format of a night race, which is not simply a step towards multi-stage competition and giving them the status of the championship of Belarus. This is a completely new experience, increased drive and adrenaline, when the ambient - the nature, the sounds, the smells, the speed is perceived differently.
