The XXIIth Belarusian Written Language Day

September 6, 2015 in Shchuchin of Grodno region the XXIIth Belarusian Written Language Day takes place. During the celebration it acquired national status, it has become an important event in the cultural life of the country. The event aims to careful preservation and development of the spiritual heritage of Belarus, promotion of its national cultural traditions.

In Belarusian Written Language Day in the central area of the city apart from concert opening and closing ceremonies of the holiday, ceremony of the «National Literary Award», guest performances of the event - Belarusian pop artists and others will be held.

At the same time the surrounding streets will be deployed festive trade. Platforms folk craftsmen, artists, children's camps, expositions of museums and libraries will be working. Throughout the day the presentation of Belarusian publishing houses, performances of creative collectives and other activities will take place.
