Legend "Ghost of Minsk town hall"

The story took place in the XVIII century. Karol Radziwill had a friend and distant relative Michal Volodkovich, who wanted to become a member of the Minsk magistrate. He was a slob and a drunkard, with such fame in the town hall nobody expected him. Volodkovich turned for help to his relative. Radziwill arrived in Minsk with the soldiers, entered the magistrate, and overnight the scampish comrade got the desired position. Despite his solid new status, the newly appeared member of the magistrate continued to do one madness after another. Once when he was drunk he swinged sword in public place,, or stop the sermon to the priest.

The city authorities have long tolerated the antics of a foll, knowing about the high patron saint of the villain, who in any case will pull him out of prison. But once the cup of patience overflowed. On February 12, 1760, Volodkovich was seized and sentenced to death almost without trial. A clergyman came to the dungeon to Volodkovich, who did not understand anything, and suggested that he repent, priest said this is enough to be forgiven. But the poor guy, either feeling his own impunity, or believing that he was being played out, refused to apologize. Immediately after this, Michal was taken to a park near the town hall and shot.

They say that the soul of the villain for a long time appeared at night near the town hall and demanded just retribution. The Town Hall was destroyed, and now, when it was restored, they say that the ghost has appeared again.
