XVIII International theatrical festival «Belaya Vezha»

During the period from 7th to 15th September the XVIII International theatrical festival «Belaya Vezha» will be held in Brest.
The international theatrical festival «Belaya Vezha» is one of the brightest events in theater life of our country which originates since 1996. During 17 years of the festival creative collectives from more than 54 countries of the world appeared on stage of Brest Academic Drama Theatre named after Lenin Komsomol of Belarus. This festival covers all range of modern theater - the modern experimental and academic drama, performances of puppet theaters, various street representations, dancing theater and many other things.
This year the festival will work in three main directions:

The international program, where the best scenic statements of world dramatic art, plastic dramatic art and modern choreography, the experimental drama, doll performances, youth theater and street representations will be presented;

National theatrical award with performance of the best statements of professional Belarusian theaters - winners of the National theatrical award;

The Polish theater which will present to attention of the audience the best statements of the Polish theaters reflecting a picture of modern theater of Poland.

The Best statements will be noted by awards of organizing committee and the international jury which includes known and authoritative experts.
