In Brest Regional Ethnographic Museum takes place international Exhibition «Floral collage», which will last from January 23 to February 26. The exposition will be presented with the International Creative Association «FLORISSIMA», which aims to promote a new kind of visual art.

Floral collage is sticking of natural material to some basis. In the fine arts floral collage has the richest arsenal of expressive means and has the widest range of techniques. His founder is the herbarium, but as a piece of art he began to develop in Germany in the early 1980s. Friedhelm Raffel is considered to be developer of floral collage. Creating a picture usually requires 5 - 12 hours from a master. He uses shells, roots, bark, flowers, fruits.

Visitors will be able to see the work of artists from Belarus, Russia and Armenia, which are made in various techniques including: floral texture, random graph, glue paint, sprey equipment and etc. In addition, on the last day of the exhibition visitors are waiting for a free master class on creating floral collage.
