Novogrudok - the first capital of Grand Duchy of Lithuania. The city with thousand-year history has kept surprising landscapes, the view of which opens from Zamkova Hora. And on her ruins of the castle where many centuries Mindovg has been crowned back tower. Such environment undoubtedly cultivates love for the country - the fate of the person who has played a big role in formation of the Belarusian literature, the romantic, publicist and political figure of the XIX century Adam Mickiewicz is inseparably linked with the city. And close the history is written by the small town of Ivye - the informal Tatar capital to Belarus. The city has kept for us temples of 3 faiths, reminding of toleration.

St. Michael the Archangel Church in Novogrudok (visual inspection)
At the beginning of the 17th century representatives of a Catholic award – Dominicans located in Novogrudka. For them the church was also built that combines elements of magnificent and festive baroque and late classicism. What was only not seen by the temple: soldiers and fires, granary and furniture warehouse, desolation and elimination of an award. However in the best times at a church the monastery and school worked. The writer and politician Adam Mickiewicz studied at school of this. -
St. Nicholas Cathedral in Novogrudok (visual inspection)
At the beginning of the 14th century the Grand duke Lithuanian Gedemin invited in Novogrudok Frantsiskantsev. About hundred years they worked on creation of the temple – Saint Anthony's church. The temple is complete - but in 50 years the Catholic award is forced to leave the monastery. However, despite destiny milestones, it reached our time, let a little modified. In the city you still should learn about its history and a role. -
Adam Mickiewicz Museum
The Adam Mickiewicz House-Museum in Novogrudok is included in the State List of Historical and Cultural Values of the Republic of Belarus (1st category). The museum is not only a biographical museum exposition, but also an “open-air” museum. The estate of the early 19th century has been restored here: a house, an outbuilding, a barn, a well, a gazebo. Among the exhibits: personal belongings (watches, glasses). The exposition includes items related to A. Mickiewicz and his entourage. Exhibitions are held in the basement of the museum and the underground passage that connects the house with the outbuilding.

Novogrudsky Castle ruins
Novogrudok – the first capital of Grand Duchy of Lithuania. The city with thousand-year history kept surprising landscapes of hills and the woods, the view of which opens from Zamkova Hora. And on it ruins of the majestic castle where many centuries Mindovg was crowned back tower. The Novogrudsky lock, located at hill top, is visible for many kilometers from the city – its towers as if giants, are cut down from a boulder, from a distance reported about power and greatness of fortress. -
Farny Catholic Church in Novogrudok
At the beginning of the 18th century, in the territory of one of the first Belarusian churches constructed by Vitovt in 1395, the Farny church was built. The excellent view of it opens from Zamkova Hora. The white monumental temple with a red roof favourably contrasts with fine landscapes of the hilly area. -

Mosque in Ive
The mosque in Ivye has existed for more than 120 years. During this time, neither war nor fires touched it. Ivieau is unofficially considered the capital of the Belarusian Tatars. This people kept their culture, their stories and legends, their saints, who were always revered. That is why a mosque was built in Ivye. Throughout the Soviet period, the Iwe mosque was the only one operating in Belarus. -

Ivie national cultures museum
Ivey Museum of National Cultures is the only museum in Belarus that tells about the history of the coexistence of different people.
