The Jewish cemetery in Smilovichy (visual inspection)
The Jewish cemetery in Smilovichi was established in the 18th century and served as a burial site for the local Jewish community for centuries. Today, it is in a state of decline, as the Jewish population of the town has almost disappeared, and many tombstones have partially sunk into the ground. Despite this, Smilovichi gave the world outstanding figures of art, including Chaim Soutine and Shraga Tsarfat – famous artists of the Paris School. Their works are highly valued in the art world, and their hometown preserves the memory of their legacy. The cemetery remains an important historical site, attracting researchers and descendants of Belarusian Jews. -
Memorial to the victims of the Smilovichsky ghetto (visual inspection)
Holocaust – scary "stock" of extermination of all Jewish population in the years of existence of Fashistky Germany. From the first days of the Great Patriotic War the Holocaust became the tragedy and for Jews of Belarus. Numerous ghettoes and extermination camps, for the purpose of isolation from society and mass elimination of Jews were created. One of the first in Belarus has liquidated the Smilovichsky ghetto. In 1941 all its inhabitants, and among them – the artist's parents with a world name of Shraga Tsarfin and his younger sister with the baby have been destroyed. The memorial to the victims of a ghetto keeps the memory of the tragedy. -

The Smilovichi Manor of Moniuszko is a place where history comes to life in the cozy atmosphere of an old estate. This is the birthplace of the legendary composer Stanisław Moniuszko, and today the manor invites guests to enjoy its unique architecture, picturesque nature, and immerse themselves in the musical heritage of the great maestro. -
Chaim Soutine's museum in Smilovichakh attracts thousands of tourists annually. And it isn't surprising – Soutine is known around the world and from around the world people go to visit the homeland of the great artist. It worked together with Marc Chagall, Modigliani and Jacques Lipschitz. Its works cost tens of millions of dollars at auctions and Rossellini, Shagalov, Francis Ford Coppola are stored in private collections. In the museum "Chaim Soutine's Space" you will visit three exposition zones: you will get acquainted with Chaim biography in the In the Homeland hall, with his creativity – in "The Parisian cafe". And the third hall is devoted to Chaim Soutine's colleague – to Schrage Tsarfin. This place with the special atmosphere and fascinating history of great people.
