Corpus Christi Church in Nesvizh is one of the most famous architectural landmarks in Belarus. Built in the 16th century, it is considered the first Baroque church in Eastern Europe. Founder and Construction
The church was founded by Prince Nicholas Christopher Radziwill, known as "Sirotka." Construction began in 1587 under the supervision of the renowned Italian architect Giovanni Maria Bernardoni. This temple became a symbol of the Radziwill family’s grandeur and an important religious center of the region.
Unique Interior Features
The church's interior amazes with its richness. Frescoes, paintings, and sculptures adorn the walls, creating an atmosphere of magnificence and spiritual tranquility.
