XIV open Festival of Belarussian KVN

XIV open Festival of Belarussian KVN will be organized in Minsk sk sk sk sk From the 7th till the 14th December, 2009 . The selection of teams to Euroleague (Open Belarus Championship) and to the first Leagues of the new 2010 season will be carried out. Seminars for team directors and editors of the leagues and the rewarding ceremony are pressuposed by the festival program.
A team-participant of the festival should prepare KVN-cut-away covering less then 7 minutes which should include 4-6 news jokes, 3-5 Advertising jokes (numbers) and one funny song in any genre. Besides, each team should give a funny videoclip of any genre covering about 3 minutes.
Application forms for participation are accepted not later than the 30th of November, at Belarusian KVN office at K.Marx Street, 40 room 45, from 10.00 am (except days off) or by fax 8(017) 222 29 59

Opening of Vladimir Tolstyk's exhibition Melodies of the festive city

On September 10, 2025, at 18:00, the Mikhail Savitsky Art Gallery will open a personal exhibition of the People's Artist of Belarus Vladimir Tolstik. The exhibition, organized jointly with the National Art Museum and the National Center for Contemporary Arts, is dedicated to the Minsk City Day.

Visitors will see genre and allegorical compositions, portraits and urban canvases of the master, which combine the traditions of the Renaissance, romantic historicism and the Belarusian school of painting. A special place is occupied by the work My Academy, dedicated to the creative atmosphere of the Academy of Arts.

«THE MAGIC OF PASTEL»: An exhibition where magic is born

On August 20 at 18:00 the opening of the collective exhibition «MAGIC OF PASTEL» will take place in the Leonid Shchemelev Art Gallery. This is an event that all art lovers cannot miss.

At the exhibition, you will see how 13 talented authors, including classics and modern masters, reveal the potential of this material. Among them are Gavriil Vashchenko, Natalia Marchenko, Georgy Poplavsky and others.

The exhibition presents more than 60 works: from realistic landscapes and portraits to abstract and symbolic works. You will be able to appreciate how pastel combines with watercolor, acrylic and oil, creating unique visual effects.
