Belarusian Shogi assosiation invites the fans of Japanese chess to take part in an open championship Minsk Shogi Cup 2009, which will take place on the 7th and 8th of November,2009. The place of carruing out: Sport school № 11 with chess and draughts bias of the commitee on education of Minsk executive committee at Rakovskaya Str,24 (in the city centre, near the underground stations «Frunsenskaya» and «Nyamiga).

Scheme of the tournament: A mixture of Swiss and Olympic systems with a final match till two victories, 6 rounds

Timing: 45 in + 30 sec Beemi

Tournament fare: 10 000 BYR. (~ 3.5 USD)
