On the 28th of November, 2009 a guitar music festival «Grifomania-2009» will take place in Minsk. The best quitar-playres of Belarus and from neighbouring countries will gather in Minsk to participate in the eleventh festival which will be carried out place in Palace of culture
Performances of such well-known guitar-players, as Vladimir Ugolnik, Sergey Antishin, Vladimir Tkachenko, Leonid Verenich, Sergey Truhanovich, Vladimir Ljubinsky, Andrey Voitsekhovsky, Alexander Tselujko are also on the program.
A special guest of the festival is a duet from Viva Jango! which makes a tandem of two bright both absolutely different in style and playing technics musicians - Evgeniya Nemova and Dmitry Kuptsov.

The first guitar music festival «Grifomania-2009 took place of the 13th and 14th of October, 1999 in "Aquarium" club . Within ten years of existence its musical format doesn't come out of the frames of "rock-blues-jazz-flamenko".

The main idea of festival is the development of guitar movement. And spectators' prize is the best reward for the players.

Opening of Vladimir Tolstyk's exhibition Melodies of the festive city

On September 10, 2025, at 18:00, the Mikhail Savitsky Art Gallery will open a personal exhibition of the People's Artist of Belarus Vladimir Tolstik. The exhibition, organized jointly with the National Art Museum and the National Center for Contemporary Arts, is dedicated to the Minsk City Day.

Visitors will see genre and allegorical compositions, portraits and urban canvases of the master, which combine the traditions of the Renaissance, romantic historicism and the Belarusian school of painting. A special place is occupied by the work My Academy, dedicated to the creative atmosphere of the Academy of Arts.

The exhibition presents more than 60 works: from realistic landscapes and portraits to abstract and symbolic works. You will be able to appreciate how pastel combines with watercolor, acrylic and oil, creating unique visual effects.
