From the 26th till the 29th of December, 2009 the Hockey Tournament "CHRISTMAS CUP-2009" will be held in the city of Minsk. Tournament is traditionally organised right before Christmas and New year and also is open Republican sports Competition, New Year's holiday for young sportsmen.
Each team, taking part in the tournament should consist of the playersborn not later then 2000 year and should consist of no more than 22 players (2 goaltenders and 20 field players). Games are organised in 3 periods for 15 minutes under the rules of the IIHFrules ИИХФ are spent in a format, without body checks. Warm-up before games of 2-3 minutes. Breaks between the periods: 1st break of 15 minutes, 2nd break of 5 minutes.
Organisation committee has established the following prizes :

Prize to the best goaltender;
Prize to the best back
Prize to the best cornerman
Prize to the best bombardier (under system a goal + a pass)

After each game 2 best players (one from each ream) are awarded trophys.
