During the period from August 10th till August 26th, 2012 in the biggest in the CIS karaoke theater «Bohemia» The International Festival of karaoke will pass in Minsk. This unique event for all karaoke industry which caused huge interest not only in fans of a karaoke, but from mass media as well.

The karaoke movement developed for a long time into a karaoke culture. Very large number of people, not simply fans of a karaoke, people enamoured of a karaoke, are ready and would wish to show the achievements in vocal art for people able to estimate, on a big concert scene and to use possibilities of the latest means in the field of a karaoke.
The international Festival «Karaoke Star» is large-scale on a format and grandiose on its importance the musical project in which more than 1000 performers, more than 10 countries, more than 500 known karaokes clubs from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Israel, and also their guests will take part.
In daily changing jury of the Festival founders and top managers of leading karaokes clubs of the different countries, and also platform stars from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Israel are invited.

Open exhibition «LE CORBUSIER: Minsk Echo»

A unique open-air exhibition, «Le Corbusier: Minsk Echo» has opened in the very heart of historic Minsk. It is timed to coincide with the XVI National Architecture Festival and dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Belarusian Union of Architects. The project is being implemented with the support of the Embassy of France and the Embassy of Switzerland in the Republic of Belarus, as well as with the participation of the Minsk History Museum.

The exhibition introduces viewers to the work of one of the most influential architects of the 20th century, Charles-Edouard Jeanneret-Gris, better known to the world as Le Corbusier. His ideas radically changed the appearance of cities around the world, from France and Switzerland to India and the USSR. Le Corbusier's innovative concept of five architectural principles formed the foundation of modernist architecture and influenced the appearance of post-war Minsk: from the microdistricts of the 1960s–1980s to the water-green diameter of the capital.

The exhibition presents the master's completed projects in Switzerland and France — the countries with which the origins and flourishing of his work are associated. This traveling exhibition helps to look at the Minsk urban environment in a new way — through the prism of ideas that shaped the architectural thinking of the 20th century.

«Le Corbusier: Minsk Echo» is not just an exhibition, but an invitation to comprehend the city in which we live and the architectural reality that shapes us every day.
