National festival «SLAVUTYIA MAISTRY»

A National Festival of decorative arts and folk crafts «Slavutyia Maistry» will be on 9-13 of October in 2012 at the Palace of Arts.
At this time there will be also the exhibition «Pakrouski Kirmash», dedicated to Mother's Day.

Festival will be a noticeable event in Belarus. The participants and visitors will have the opportunity to meet with well-known artists, get acquainted with new techniques, to find ideas for creativity. Everyone will be able to buy gifts for their mothers and grandmothers.

Main exposures of the festival there are:

Needlework: lace sewing, embroidery, knitting, weaving, macramé, jewelry and handmade jewelry, soap, handmade candles, materials for sewing and needlework.

Crafts:decorative forging, product of birch bark, the molding of the pastry, ceramic and pottery product, carving.

Decorative Art: painting (watercolor, oil, acrylic, sanguine, etc.), photography, calligraphy, art and decorative albums (scrapbooking) and postcards, batik, mosaics, burning, author utensils, metal products, materials for creativity.

Floristics: composition of bouquets, ikebana, flowers in the interior, related products.

There will be a competition of the best creative work in each area of exposures.
