On November 30th - December 2d 2012 The IV Festival of salsa «NextDoor Fest» will pass in Minsk!

«Nextdoor Fest» is a festival of bright paints and only positive emotions, which fourth time will already pass in Minsk.
For the first time the festival passed in 2009, and became the real opening and for citizens of Minsk and guests of the capital, and received the award in nomination «Opening of year 2009» according to the version of annual ceremony of «Salsa Night Awards» in Moscow.

The program of a festival provides seminars and parties with participation of the best teachers of salsa, DJs and musicians from Russia, Ukraine and Poland, and also draws, dances and great mood. The festival perfectly proved in the CIS continues and now enjoy with professional instructors, seminars and parties! It is a holiday for the real judges of this hot music and dance.
Salsa is a dance with sensual and at the same time romantic movements, excellent liberation and excellent rest. It is democratic dance, it always different, very emotional and sensual, romantic and expressional, open for improvisation. The salsa is dance-game, dance-flirtation.

Open exhibition «LE CORBUSIER: Minsk Echo»

A unique open-air exhibition, «Le Corbusier: Minsk Echo» has opened in the very heart of historic Minsk. It is timed to coincide with the XVI National Architecture Festival and dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Belarusian Union of Architects. The project is being implemented with the support of the Embassy of France and the Embassy of Switzerland in the Republic of Belarus, as well as with the participation of the Minsk History Museum.

The exhibition introduces viewers to the work of one of the most influential architects of the 20th century, Charles-Edouard Jeanneret-Gris, better known to the world as Le Corbusier. His ideas radically changed the appearance of cities around the world, from France and Switzerland to India and the USSR. Le Corbusier's innovative concept of five architectural principles formed the foundation of modernist architecture and influenced the appearance of post-war Minsk: from the microdistricts of the 1960s–1980s to the water-green diameter of the capital.

The exhibition presents the master's completed projects in Switzerland and France — the countries with which the origins and flourishing of his work are associated. This traveling exhibition helps to look at the Minsk urban environment in a new way — through the prism of ideas that shaped the architectural thinking of the 20th century.

«Le Corbusier: Minsk Echo» is not just an exhibition, but an invitation to comprehend the city in which we live and the architectural reality that shapes us every day.
