During April 23-28th, 2013 the sixth release of the international professional and cultural action Belarus Fashion Week Fall-Winter 2013/2014 season will pass in Minsk.
Week of fashion in Belarus - today is the largest event in the fashion world in our country which not only sets tendencies, creates new images and the directions, but also opens new names. One of the main achievements of the Belarus Fashion Week that in its framework it turns out to organize professional group of people, successful designers and reliable partners for whom the fashion — is work. The Belarus Fashion Week program provides carrying out performances on two platforms - the main podium of BFW intended for individual performance of designers, and also a platform for the OFF SCHEDULE program, created specially for performances of young designers and presentations of new brands.
Within a Fashion Week on April 27th the final of the competition «New Names BFW» which for the 4th time will already pass in a framework of Belarus Fashion Week and will represent a joint fashion show of finalists of competition will pass. New Names BFW was conceived as competition among beginners or little-known designers who thanks to the talent can become one of new brands in the fashionable market of Belarus. Results of competition will be defined by competent jury of 5-7 people, the contract for development of industrial collection will be concluded with the winner designer for the partner enterprise.
Besides performance and competition the Belarus Fashion Week program will include a number of official subprojects of Organizing BFW committee - the educational center Fashion Study Centre, competition of bloggers and fashion-journalists Fashion Blog Competition, and also a series of formal receptions.
In the forthcoming season Belarus Fashion Week will continue cooperation with leading fashionable TV channel Fashion One, a design portal of Design42day and the international edition DEPESHA, and also a number of other professional editions of Russia, Belarus and Ukraine.
