«The first Cheese Festival» near Minsk

June, 15 2013 in the Belarussian state museum of folk architecture and household activity will be held «First Cheese Festival near Minsk».
Venue of the festival is not accidental. The exposition of the Belarussian state museum of folk architecture is located on an area of 150 hectares, which will allow a large number of guests to stay comfortably. In addition, guests will be able to meet with more than 30 objects of traditional folk architecture of the late XVIII - beginning of XX century: a mill, a church, a school, the complexes of peasant farmsteads with restored interiors and objects of everyday life that characterize different regions of Belarus.
During the festival, visitors will have the unique opportunity to taste the many varieties of cheese, participate in wine tastings delicious products, to buy Belarusian dairy producers, enjoy the spectacular performances and good music and spend a picnic outdoors. For the little ones there will be exciting games and contests.
At the festival will present their products not only dairy producers, but also confectionery, meat, beverage and other industries. From the first hours will start children's animation - for the little guests of the festival will be organized fun children's games and contests, children's body art, weaving wreaths from cheese, transmission of «cat and mouse» and much more.
Festival will be open at 12 a.m., there will be presented culinary and entertainment program with music from leading artists of the Academy of Music. The festival is planned for the culinary master classes, interactive performances with audience participation, teaching everyone to ancient dances. Especially for outdoor enthusiasts will be held «Cheese Olympics», during which it will be possible to take part in the competition on strength, agility, speed and accuracy. Awaiting you are magical music and dances of the XIX century, Saxophone Quartet will present to the public a cocktail music from jazz to classical.
Open-air event format will allow guests to spend a day on the fresh air, enjoying the delicious cheeses.

Opening of Vladimir Tolstyk's exhibition Melodies of the festive city

On September 10, 2025, at 18:00, the Mikhail Savitsky Art Gallery will open a personal exhibition of the People's Artist of Belarus Vladimir Tolstik. The exhibition, organized jointly with the National Art Museum and the National Center for Contemporary Arts, is dedicated to the Minsk City Day.

Visitors will see genre and allegorical compositions, portraits and urban canvases of the master, which combine the traditions of the Renaissance, romantic historicism and the Belarusian school of painting. «THE MAGIC OF PASTEL»: An exhibition where magic is born

Pastel is a material that gives the artist incredible freedom. Its lightness and pliability allow you to convey any mood, from fleeting impressions to deep, multi-layered compositions. At the exhibition, you will see how 13 talented authors, including classics and modern masters, reveal the potential of this material. Among them are Gavriil Vashchenko, Natalia Marchenko, Georgy Poplavsky and others.

The exhibition presents more than 60 works: from realistic landscapes and portraits to abstract and symbolic works. You will be able to appreciate how pastel combines with watercolor, acrylic and oil, creating unique visual effects.
