Between 26 to 28 September 2013 X National Festival of Architecture «Minsk-2013» will be held in Minsk.
Architecture Festival - a celebration not only for architects, but also for all those, who lives in the country, is engaged in the construction and reconstruction of cities and villages. National architecture festivals are held in Belarus since 1999 and has become an international event.
This year sees the X the jubilee festival. The main theme «Belarusian architecture - from Vision to Reality» is revealed through the organization of four major competitions: the sixteenth Republican competition for the best architectural work of 2012-2013, V Minsk International biennale of young architects «Leonardo 2013», VIII Republican contest of students projects in the field of «Architecture» and «Architectural Design», III Republican Art children`s art contest «The architecture of native land through the eyes of children». There will also be exhibitions and master classes by leading Belarusian and foreign architects, creative workshops, round tables and other events.
The festival program includes seminars, presentations of companies and enterprises design, round-table on «Current trends in architecture and urban planning» theme, master-classes of domestic and foreign architects, and many other activities.
Minsk Architects will hold tours for guests and participants of the festival and will answer different questions. This event provides a unique opportunity to see the contours of an updated and dynamic Belarus, as well as the work of foreign architects.
