International Festival «Skryzhavannі. Mіnsk»

International Children's Art Festival «Skryzhavannі. Mіnsk» takes place April 25 in the capital of Belarus, Minsk city. Broad avenues, amazing cityscapes, charming and friendly townspeople. One of the aims of the festival is furthering strengthen the prestige of children and teenagers and increasing their social status, the exchanging of creative achievements and the ability of establishing close contacts between the children and young people from different countries, regardless of their nationality, religion, social status and health.

2000 talented Belarusian children from the country will be selected to participate in this festival. Groups not only from the major cities, but also from small towns will come for three days in Minsk with their leaders and parents to present their schools and centers of children's creativity.

1000 children will come to Belarus to represent their countries: Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Kazakhstan.

The program of the international festival «Skryzhavanni» (April from 24 to 26)

Day 1

Arriving of the participants of the festival. Solemn meeting of the groups. Check in at the hotel. Guide program «Minsk is the city of creativity» with visiting to The National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet, The Belarusian State Philharmonic, The Belarusian State Academic Musical Theater, National Art Museum.

Day 2

Registration of participants of the festival (for foreign groups). Press conference of heads of teams. Competition program. The excursion program. «Skryzhavanni of the History» with visiting to the interactive museum of the Great Patriotic War, walking along Svisloch river with visiting to Trinity suburb. Appotunity to know the legends of the modern metropolis, walking around The National Library of the Republic of Belarus. Visiting aquapark «Lebyazhy».

Day 3

Rehearsal set in the Concert Hall «Minsk». Competition program. Creative meetings. Theatrical festival flash mob in the central square of Minsk. Competition program. Gala concert with participating of the stars of Belarus in CH «Minsk». The awarding ceremony of winners and laureates. Disco show «Wave of ideas» in the Concert Hall «Minsk». The final fireworks show.

Opening of Vladimir Tolstyk's exhibition Melodies of the festive city

On September 10, 2025, at 18:00, the Mikhail Savitsky Art Gallery will open a personal exhibition of the People's Artist of Belarus Vladimir Tolstik. The exhibition, organized jointly with the National Art Museum and the National Center for Contemporary Arts, is dedicated to the Minsk City Day.

Visitors will see genre and allegorical compositions, portraits and urban canvases of the master, which combine the traditions of the Renaissance, romantic historicism and the Belarusian school of painting. A special place is occupied by the work My Academy, dedicated to the creative atmosphere of the Academy of Arts.

«THE MAGIC OF PASTEL»: An exhibition where magic is born

On August 20 at 18:00 the opening of the collective exhibition «MAGIC OF PASTEL» will take place in the Leonid Shchemelev Art Gallery. This is an event that all art lovers cannot miss.

Pastel is a material that gives the artist incredible freedom. Its lightness and pliability allow you to convey any mood, from fleeting impressions to deep, multi-layered compositions. At the exhibition, you will see how 13 talented authors, including classics and modern masters, reveal the potential of this material. Among them are Gavriil Vashchenko, Natalia Marchenko, Georgy Poplavsky and others.

The exhibition presents more than 60 works: from realistic landscapes and portraits to abstract and symbolic works. You will be able to appreciate how pastel combines with watercolor, acrylic and oil, creating unique visual effects.
