The concert ritual event «Zyalenyya Svyatkі» will be held on June 7th, 2014 at the Belarusian State Museum of Folk Architecture and Life.

Since ancient times, the Slavs perceived late spring and early summer as the time when the nature reach the highest point of its development and filling her miraculous powers. Therefore, there were different ceremonies greeting the first green, vegetation, fertile fields at this period, which are called «Zyalenyya Svyatkі». With the adoption of Christianity in those days was confined Whitsun. It was celebrated on the fiftieth day after Easter. The ceremonies were of two main themes - labor (a good haymaking, fertile land) and the family-clan (the girls were wondering about the marriage and future of family).

«Museum Village» will welcome its guests by fun activities: training workshops on the Belarusian folk dances and games, weaving wreaths, concert, entertainment and game program from folklore ensembles «Vesnyanka», «Strala», «Etna-Supolka», «Mіlavіtsa». For the youngest visitors there will be playing on the playground. The culmination of the festival will be a artist's reconstruction of the unique original rite «Kumlenie».
During the event You can ride horses, ponies, cartage for an additional fee, buy souvenirs from folk artists. Archery-crossbow shooting «Shooting Drive» offers to take part in competitions for accuracy, and the «Belarusian tavern» propose to taste national dishes and drinks.
